Door maintainance required

The main door on our appartment building is extremely noisy. It needs to be slammed shut in order to close it and makes the whole ground floor appartment shake. We would like someone to perform maintanacen to the door to enable it to shut quietly - we are thinking perhaps padding around the door frame or instalation of a hydraulic clsoing mechanism. Anyone with experience in this field please let me know and we can take things from there. Thank you!
